Within the unwritten months there are seasons when life asks us to create.
And there are seasons when life asks us to listen.
The past few months have felt like a blend of both.
While I haven’t been posting regularly on the blog, creativity has continued to move quietly beneath the surface. Sometimes through poetry. Sometimes through podcast episodes. Sometimes through the daily practice of creating The Still Point Minute meditations.
One of the gifts of producing daily reflections is that it teaches me to pay attention. Not just to the big moments that demand our focus, but to the subtle moments that often pass unnoticed. A shift in perspective. A moment of gratitude. A realization that arrives while sitting in stillness.
Over the last several months, I’ve found myself returning again and again to themes of wonder, presence, grace, and renewal. Not because life has suddenly become simple, but because those qualities seem to matter most when life is complex.
Through Poetic Resurrection, I have always been interested in the intersection of creativity and humanity. The places where poetry becomes reflection. Where storytelling becomes understanding. Where a simple question can open a doorway into something larger.
The Poetic Resurrection Podcast continues to explore those spaces. Some episodes emerge from poems. Others emerge from personal observations, books, conversations, or moments that refuse to leave me alone until I write about them. Each one is an invitation to look a little deeper at what it means to be human.
The Still Point Minute has become another expression of that same invitation. One minute. One breath. One opportunity to pause in a world that often encourages us to rush forward without noticing where we are.
In many ways, these projects remind me that creativity is not always about producing something new. Sometimes it is about witnessing what is already present. Sometimes it is about listening carefully enough to hear the wisdom hidden beneath the noise.
As we move further into the year, I look forward to sharing more poems, reflections, podcast episodes, and meditations. Thank you for being part of this journey and for creating space in your own life for reflection, imagination, and possibility.
May we continue to find meaning not only in the destinations we seek, but in the moments that shape us along the way.
Many Blessings,
Sonia
