The Still Point Minute

The Still Point Minute Finds Presence

The Still Point Minute

The Still Point Minute—a daily YouTube series of one-minute reflections with weekly themes—grew from the same intention that inspired me to create Poetic Resurrection. Poetry, much like acting, lives in the pauses as much as the words. Both the daily series and the podcast are ways I return to presence: one through sixty-second mindful pauses, the other through longer conversations and poems.

Why I Started The Still Point Minute

In between poetry, podcasting, and acting auditions, I found myself craving a small but steady way to reset. This series became that practice—a reminder that presence doesn’t require long meditations or hours of stillness. Just sixty seconds can create a shift, offering balance in the middle of a busy day.

Poetry, Reflection, and Everyday Presence

While Poetic Resurrection gives me space for deeper explorations of creativity and healing, the daily reflections are a gentle companion. Each week carries its own theme—gratitude, balance, renewal—and each day brings a short invitation to pause. Together, they form a rhythm: poetry for depth, and mindful moments for presence.

Begin with the First Reflection

If you’d like to explore this practice, you can start with the very first reflection in the playlist here: YouTube – The Still Point Minute.

And of course, new episodes of Poetic Resurrection are always available wherever you listen to podcasts.

Until next time, may you find presence—in poems, in pauses, and in the still point between them.
